Browns Real Estate used the funding to transform a vacant office building into 32 self-contained apartments. These consist of 15 one-bedroom and 17 two-bedroom apartments across the first to fourth floors.
The first, second and third floors each comprise nine flats (five one-bedroom and four two-bedroom units), while the fourth floor provides five newly built two-bedroom apartments, all benefitting from private terraces. Basement parking is also available to tenants.
“William’s latest project is a strong example of how experienced local investors can play a vital role in regenerating town centres,” said Azfar Rizvi, commercial director of commercial real estate at Aldermore.

“Transforming a long-vacant office building into high-quality residential accommodation not only helps meet growing rental demand but also brings new life to the heart of the community.”
To date, 17 units have been let with 26 tenancies agreed since launch, and full occupancy anticipated.
The building has been renamed “Master Williams Place” in tribute to the seven-year-old son of Brown Real Estate’s director and founder William Brown, who tragically lost his life in a car accident outside his home.
William added: “Renaming the development Master Williams Place in memory of my son was deeply personal.
“This project represents both a professional milestone and something much more meaningful for my family.
“I’m proud of the standard we’ve delivered and grateful for the continued support from Aldermore as my portfolio has grown.”
